Shared storage and MAM with artificial intelligence
It’s not magic, it’s automatic metadata in seconds.
Artificial intelligence (AI) and content creation
From design to delivery, AI is firmly implanted in the next generation of media production technologies. When minutes and seconds matter, AI can save hours of manual work while delivering the same quality you expect from your team.
Why use AI in media production?
Computers are great at performing consistent, repetitive tasks.
Humans are better at being creative.
AI gives your team more time to focus on creative projects without being weighed down by monotonous tasks that can be outsourced to a computer specifically designed to do just that.
Leave the repetition to the machines and let your team’s creativity shine.
ShareBrowser media asset management with artificial intelligence
What is ShareBrowser MAM with AI?
EVO shared storage solutions come with ShareBrowser media asset management software included for unlimited users. ShareBrowser is the powerful and easy-to-use MAM system that helps your team maximize collaboration, creativity, and productivity.
With its built-in AI connector, you can integrate ShareBrowser MAM with your AWS account to automatically tag your indexed media with relevant key terms.
How does it work?
Simply select the file(s) you want the AI to review, click Analyze, and enjoy the time-saving benefits of automatic metadata tagging. The AI engine will scan your selected footage and add relevant keywords and phrases to the Tags field in ShareBrowser.
That metadata is then immediately available to your team, allowing them to easily search for and find the perfect clip for their next project.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning
Sure, computers are smart, but are they really as good as the intuition of my editors?
AI programs are built to be extremely perceptive, often identifying items that assistant editors may miss. And with machine learning (ML), the program will continue to improve in accuracy as it examines more footage.
But let’s be clear: artificial intelligence isn’t replacing anyone on your editing team. AI and ML programs were built to lessen the workload on your editors, allowing them to use their time and talents in better, more creative ways.
Let’s say you have 40 years of footage in your media library—thousands and thousands of hours of untagged video—and you’re looking for clips of a specific park.
You could have an assistant editor sift through all of that media, and they might find the right clips, eventually. Or, you could give your assistant an assist with AI.
Run your untagged media through the AI analyzer to generate relevant tags with artificial intelligence. Then, your assistant can search for “park” and add more specific details that the AI might have missed, like city, state, and park name.
It’s simply giving you and your team a head start to finding the media you need.
AI, meet API
Automatic metadata tagging can save video production teams tons of time. But if you have more specific or demanding AI requirements—like matching jersey numbers to a team roster in live sports production—you can connect your advanced AI programs to your EVO shared media server using the Slingshot API included with EVO.
When connected through the Slingshot API, your AI programs will be able to share data with your EVO video editing server, which will then be searchable in the ShareBrowser media asset management system.
Our API is free and included with EVO.
